In connection with the death of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, as well as the announcement of three-days-mourning in the country, from September 3 in all abroad diplomatic missions and consular offices of the Republic of Uzbekistan open the books of condolences. National flags are lowered in front of the buildings.

Since early morning the members of governments and parliaments, representatives of political, cultural, scientific, academic and business communities, NGOs and just ordinary people bring flowers and leave the entries in the book of condolences as a sign of deep sorrow for the Uzbek people.
