ALL PROJECTS GET INSPECTED FOR SIGNS OF CORRUPTION AND OTHER ABUSES

The National Project Management Agency has been set up under the President that will be dealing with the implementation and exploitation of the Unified National Information System for Project Management, comprehensive technical and economic analysis of projects, including those being implemented, for signs of corruption and other abuses.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on measures to implement the Unified National Information System for Project Management.

The information system of project management provides for the introduction of a single national resource guide, which allows to form an objective market value of each resource (goods, works and services), to exclude incorrect technical tasks and estimates. In addition, it will allow for the calculation of resources, the evaluation of the effectiveness of the design solution, the correctness of determining the quantity and type of resources, including using 3D design technology.

Thus, the country will have an electronic control over the development and passage of pre-project and project documentation.
