ASAKA BANK ALLOCATES 835.8 BILLION SOUMS OF LOANS TO ENTREPRENEURS

Small business and private entrepreneurship occupies an important place in the economy of our country, being a significant factor in supplying the domestic market with necessary goods and services, as well as in increasing incomes and employment. Hereby, the role of domestic banks in the support of entrepreneurs is huge. One of such banks is Joint-stock Commercial Bank "Asaka".

In the first half of 2016, the Asaka Bank allocated 835.8 billion soums of credit funds towards financial support of business entities. When considering applications, the banks pays priority attention to the projects that contribute to the creation of additional jobs in remote regions of the Republic, the creation or expansion of production of food and nonfood products, development of services and the improvement of material-technical base of enterprises.

An important activity of the Bank is to support graduates of professional colleges, as well as the family businesses, through providing them with preferential credit.

Since the beginning of this year, the Bank channeled 7.3 billion soums towards the development of animal husbandry, beekeeping, poultry farming and construction of greenhouses by graduates of professional colleges.

In addition, the Bank contributes to the development of women’s entrepreneurship as well. In the first half of this year, women entrepreneurs received 74.8 billion soums of credit funds.

By the end of this year, the Bank plans to allocate some 1.6 trillion soums towards the development of small business and private entrepreneurship.

"Melek-Appo" is among the clients of the Bank. The company produces wheat flour. Long-term soft loans allocated by the Bank were utilized to purchase modern equipment, which allowed the enterprise to expand the production and to improve the product quality.

— Thanks to the financial support of the Bank "Asaka" we have established a modern production line that produces high quality products. Over 25 new jobs have been created among workers and graduates of professional colleges, - the engineer of LLC "Melek-Appo" Mirzoulugbek Rakhimov said.

The quality of the flour depends on the wheat, so before sending it to the mill it passes quality control. With the help of modern equipment, the company employees study the color and strength of wheat. A central console controls the production process in all departments. The wheat is crushed using special machines.

The Bank "Asaka" continues active work on the support of small business and private entrepreneurship entities, increasing the volumes of lending to projects of the real sector of the economy, economically promising, cost-effective projects aimed at the production of export-oriented and import-substituting products using local raw materials.
