On November 22-23, 2018, the Asian Forum on Human Rights will be held in Samarkand, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
It is expected that foreign representatives from the heads of international and regional organizations, the leadership of the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, parliaments of foreign countries, heads of national human rights institutions, representatives of the expert community, and also foreign media.
During the forum, it is planned to discuss topical issues of the protection of human rights and freedoms, as well as the experience of the participating countries in this direction.

It should be noted that at present Uzbekistan has joined the 70 main documents on human rights, has become a party to 10 fundamental international treaties adopted by the UN in the field of human rights.
