At the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan, the President of Russia arrived in our country on a state visit

Yesterday, at the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin arrived in our country on a state visit, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our state, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met the President of Russia at the international airport in Tashkent.

The national flags of the two countries were raised and a guard of honor was lined up in honor of the distinguished guest.

The main events of the visit will take place today, May 27.

During the high-level talks, the leaders will consider further developing and deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Russia.

A package of bilateral documents is planned to be adopted following the summit. The presidents will also attend the first meeting of the Council of Regions of Uzbekistan and Russia.
