AUSTRIAN STUDIOSUS ABOUT THE TOURISM POTENTIAL OF UZBEKISTAN

The Austrian Studiosus journal published an article devoted to the tourist potential of Uzbekistan.

"Visiting the country allows travelers to walk through the unique, legendary cities, where they can see the world-famous ancient monuments, - says the publication. - Most of them are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, and still keep the memory of the glorious history of the Uzbek people".

Studiosus writes that medieval palaces and mausoleums, tall and elegant minarets, grandiose madrassahs and mosques decorated with incredibly rich ceramic ornaments, bustle and colors of oriental bazaars, thrilling legends, warm hospitality of the Uzbek people will leave a lasting impression in the memory of guests.

It is noted that Uzbekistan is located at the crossroads of the Silk Road, the ancient trade artery connecting the East and the West. In this way not only carried silk, gold and spices, but also cultural exchange took place between different peoples in both directions.

The article says that foreign tourists arriving in Uzbekistan, are able to obtain high-quality hotels, transportation and other travel services. "Uzbekistan in recent years has made significant progress in creating and upgrading tourism infrastructure", - an Austrian magazine concludes.
