Press Center of Bakhshi International Art Festival, which will be held on April 5-10, 2019 in Termez, started operating in Surkhandarya Regional Information-Library Center named after Sobir Termizi.
This major event will be attended by about 30 journalists from 20 countries and Uzbekistan mass media representatives.
Within the framework of the international festival, which gathers bakhshi from all over the world in a historical place, scientists-folklorists and fans of our rich intangible cultural heritage, it is planned to hold presentations of new unique dastans and scientific works, exhibitions of folk handicrafts, national musical instruments and clothing, works of fine and applied arts, sculptural products, bakhshi competition, scientific conferences, as well as organization of excursions.
The Press Center has all the conditions for promptly and objectively covering the events related to the festival. The hall is equipped with modern information and communication technologies and is connected to the global network. A Wi-Fi zone is created. Samples of folk art and unique books are exhibited. The activity carried out in this direction will serve to hold the international festival at a high level.
