BELGIAN BUSINESSMEN: ECONOMIC SUCCESSES OF UZBEKISTAN OPENED THE WAY TO INNOVATIVE ECONOMY

October 26 - November 5, 2015, Tashkent IX International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange has attracted a high interest of foreign companies to develop and strengthen mutually beneficial relations with Uzbek partners.

On their return the foreign participants shared their impressions on the event’s results.

In particular, Director of the Belgian company Amitexcon Antoaneta Staneva praised the level of organization and holding of fairs and exchanges.

— I was pleased to see that a large number of national and foreign companies attended the event - the businessman said. - At such events there is a good opportunity to get acquainted with the technical and technological potential of the basic sectors of the economy, produced and consumed in the country of production and exchange of best practices. Such fairs serve for the creation of a mechanism to ensure a strong harmony of science and industry, which is one of the basic prerequisites for the development of innovative economy.

During the event, I was able to get acquainted with the products that are being exported from Uzbekistan, as well as to the proposed development of products produced through the use of local raw materials.

Carrying such events on an annual basis of the event, of course, will further strengthen the cooperation ties between the Uzbek and foreign enterprises.

Coordinator of the business department of the Dutch company NBI International Yen Nguyen commented on the outcome of the fair:

— Participation of 2000 Uzbek enterprises and companies, 1300 business representatives from 50 foreign countries shows the high level of the event and the great interest of foreign business circles to cooperate with the Uzbek partners.

I was pleased to see the active participation of small enterprises of the republic in the fair. I fully agree with the opinion of the great possibilities of small businesses in providing high performance indices for production and supply of the most popular and high-quality products.

Also I would like to emphasize the importance and usefulness of the organization in the event, presentations industries and enterprises in Uzbekistan, which were represented by their technical and technological capabilities.

I am sure that this forum will contribute to the further successful development of the national economy.

In turn, Manager of the Belgian company Belgisch WitBlauw Pierre Maley noted special attention paid to support and stimulate the activities of small business and private entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan.

— To carry out extensive work to further expand the export capacity of entrepreneurs, providing them with the necessary legal, financial and organizational assistance to increase the production and export of modern competitive products yielding good results. Of course, the measures taken for the construction of new, modern production facilities, modernization and innovation and technological re-equipment of the national economy sectors will contribute to the further active development of your country. The successes achieved thanks to ongoing in your state of scale and purposeful work in these areas, open up the way for a republic of innovative economy is the strategic direction of the global economy in the XXI century.

I believe that the outcome of the International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange, the highest results of territorial and sectoral industrial fairs indicate that cooperative ties Uzbek enterprises every year strengthened and enriched with new content.
