BEST SOFT CHALLENGE - 2015

Tashkent hosted a press conference on the announcement of the contest among young people to develop software Best Soft Challenge - 2015, the Ministry for the development of information technology and communications.

The competition is held in accordance with the program of youth policy in Uzbekistan. Its organizers are the Ministry of Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education and public education, "Kamolot", "Center of programmers - BePro», Inha University in Tashkent, Tashkent University of Information Technologies and the company "Samsung Electronics".

At the press conference, it was noted that the market for the production and implementation of software products, being an important part of the information technology market has significant potential to improve the efficiency of the national economy. From this perspective, the objectives of the competition are to promote young software developers, training of highly qualified personnel, as well as the development of software market.

The contest is held for students as well as college students and high schools. Winners expect a substantial honorarium fund, which is important for their future development.

The competition takes place from 14 May to 11 September 2015 in three stages:

Stage 1: from 14 May to 20 August - registration of participants, Stage 2: from 20 August to 3 September - pre-selection (the definition of the finalists), Stage 3: 7 to September 11 - the final selection (determination of winners).

The event will take place in such nominations as "The best solution in the field of e-commerce" - it evaluated projects using a global network and allows online to offer their goods and services, taking orders, billing, as well as to online transactions for commercial transactions and implement email marketing; "The best project in the field of education" - in this category is determined by the best project for the automation of the processes of education - teaching process automation system, online tutorials, software for remote education system text; "Development of the computer, browser and mobile games" - it includes the game, the use of which will improve skills, acquire new knowledge. In each category is determined by the best project, which will be awarded with a prize of 10 mln. UZS. The award ceremony will be held in the framework of the ICT Week 2015 in September this year.
