CAMBODIA HAS RECEIVED THE STATUS OF THE SCO DIALOGUE PARTNER

On September 24, 2015, in Xi’an (China), SCO Secretary-General Dmitry Mezentsev and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia Hor Namhong signed a Memorandum on granting the Kingdom of Cambodia the status of the dialogue partner of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The decision on granting the Kingdom of Cambodia the status of the dialogue partner was taken on July 10, 2015, in Ufa after the meeting of the SCO Heads of State Council. The Secretary-General had been charged to negotiate and sign an appropriate Memorandum.
