CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN FOR IDENTICAL GOOD TO BE GIVEN IN ONE DAY

The Decree of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Finance and the State Customs Committee dated December 14, 2016 introduced amendments to the Regulations on procedure for certification of origin of goods.

Now, process of issuing a certificate of origin of goods takes an applicant, who has previously received certificates for identical goods, one working day from the date of submission of the application. At the same time, the application should include the number of previously issued certificate after the name and quantity of goods.

Identical goods - goods produced by the same manufacturer through the same technological process, submitted for certification by the same applicant, having the same composition, the name (including the model, brand, sort) and the code on commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity.

Documents, attached to the application including when applying for a certificate of origin of re-exported goods, are submitted by an applicant to the authorized body directly through the postal service or electronically through the information system. Documents submitted in electronic form, are confirmed by electronic digital signature of the applicant.

The Decree also contains some other amendments and comes into force on January 1, 2017.
