On April 24 this year conference to hear reports of the Independent institute for monitoring the formation of civil society (IIMFCS) on "Quantitative and qualitative changes in the development of civil society in Uzbekistan" to be held in Tashkent, reports the press service of the IIMFCS.
The aim of the conference is to inform the general public, foreign expert and analytical circles of activity IIMFCS in 2014, as well as a comprehensive discussion of the status and prospects of development of civil society in Uzbekistan.
The event will be attended by members of the Senate and the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations, leading research and educational institutions, the Council of the founders of the Institute, foreign and international organizations accredited in Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of national and international media.
The conference will focus on the development of measures for the effective implementation of the tasks facing the Institute, a full discussion of the existing problems in the development of civil society institutions.
