I sincerely congratulate you on the occasion of the International Women’s Day – March 8th – a holiday of kindness and beauty.

It is deeply symbolic that this holiday is celebrated with the beginning of spring, because the concepts of spring and woman complement each other.

Caring for a woman who is the backbone of the family and society, filling our lives with joy and beauty, giving her due respect has always been an integral part of the mentality of our people. Thanks to you, our life acquires an even deeper meaning, illuminated by the light of love and kindness, peace and prosperity reign in our homes.

Ensuring the active participation of women in public and political life is the focus of public policy, conducted under the leadership of our esteemed President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. In particular, great attention is paid to the full support of women, providing them with social and legal assistance, ensuring the rights and interests of women, increasing their political activity, professional, physical, spiritual and intellectual potential. The priorities of the state policy include the protection of the family, motherhood and childhood, the formation of a strong family, and ensuring gender equality. The progress achieved by our country in this direction is recognized by the world community.

The noble principle “When a woman is happy, the whole society is happy” is affirmed in the life of our society. It is gratifying to note that our women work and achieve success not only in the fields of science, education, culture, healthcare, but also in responsible positions in public service.

I would like to separately express my gratitude to our female teachers and mentors working in the field of education. We are always grateful to you for teaching our children the basics of modern science and professions, shaping high human feelings and qualities in them, preserving our spiritual and moral values.
