One-window centers operating in the district and city hokimiyats, in accordance with the presidential decree on improving state services to business entities dated February 1, 2017, were transferred to the competence of the Ministry of Justice.
This should help to increase the effectiveness of the management of these centers, organize their activities in cooperation with other government bodies.
The program of measures developed on the basis of the presidential decree provides for simplification of procedures for registration and issuing permits, and broadens access to public services. At the same time, the issues of removing barriers and ensuring openness in the use of public services are of topical importance.
In the capital in all district centers "Single window" the population is provided with 16 types of services. Here, such issues as state registration of entrepreneurs, connection to engineering and communication networks, state registration of land rights, placement of external advertising, and transformation of a living space into non-residential premises are being addressed. Over the past two months in Tashkent, more than 2 thousand legal entities have used these services.
Those entrepreneurs who have come to the centers in the reference department are provided with free information on the procedure and terms for the provision of public services.
