"Current issues in civil cases supervisory procedures"

Tashkent hosted a "round table" on topic "Current issues in civil cases supervisory procedures", according to the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan.

The event, organized by the Research Centre for democratization and liberalization of judicial legislation and ensuring the independence of the judiciary in the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Judicial Training Center under the Ministry of Justice, was attended by deputies, judges, prosecutors, academics, representatives of the media.

During the "round table", it was noted that the introduction of the judicial system of modern information technology provides the speed and efficiency of proceedings. Thus, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme in Uzbekistan successfully passes the test of the electronic information system of justice E-SUD, introduced in Zangiota interdistrict court for civil cases. In 2014, examined nearly 30,000 applications and approximately 100 claims received by the court in electronic form. Currently, work on the implementation of this system in the activities of other vessels and expand its capabilities.

Also at the event were discussed issues of improving judicial review of civil cases in the supervisory procedure, solving problems arising in the jurisprudence relating to the scope of the legislation.
