September 18-20, the Davis Cup match between the national teams of Uzbekistan and the United States to take place on the court of the Republican Tennis School of Olympic Reserve in Tashkent, the press service of Uzbekistan’s Tennis Federation reports.
National team of Uzbekistan match for the eighth time will try to qualify for the major league of world team championship. The composition of the team has not changed. It is still headed by Denis Istomin. Young tennis players prepared to step into the court - 20-year-old Temur Ismailov and 21-year-old Sanjar Fayziev.
US squad, losing in the first round of the Davis Cup World League to contenders from the UK, will fight for the preservation of the status in the elite of world tennis.
