A delegation led by akim of Almaty region of the Republic of Kazakhstan Amandyk Batalov arrived in Andijan region.
Andijan region of Uzbekistan has established friendly ties with Osh, Jalalabad regions of Kyrgyzstan, as well as with a number of regions of the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan.
In 2017, products worth 121 million dollars were exported from Andijan region to Kazakhstan. Products worth 40 million dollars were delivered from this country to the region.
This trip of the delegation of Almaty region promotes expansion of cooperation between the regions, further activation of trade and travel of the population.
During the negotiations, the guests were provided with information on the export potential of the region. Views were exchanged on the delivery of a wide range of goods – spare parts for cars, cable products, building materials, knitwear, clothing and accessories.
It was noted that the assembly of GM Uzbekistan cars has started in Kostanay, joint ventures with participation of the capital of Kazakhstan’s entrepreneurs are operating in Andijan region, which opens a new page in mutually beneficial relations.
Members of the delegation visited a number of industrial enterprises, got acquainted with their production and export capabilities. Following the trip, mutually beneficial contracts were signed.
