On June 12, a working trip of representatives of the khokimiyat (local administration) and business circles of the Samarkand region to the Netherlands to participate in the "Open Doors Days" dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Dutch company Viscon has begun.
During the visit, it is planned to get acquainted with the exhibited products, establish long-term contacts with possible attraction of appropriate technologies for the development of agriculture in Uzbekistan.
At the exhibition, the Viscon will present more than 40 modern machines of its own production for horticulture and plant growing. In addition, for the first time the Autostix transplantation system, the transshipment machine and Vision transplantation and other innovations will be demonstrated.
As a part of the event, the Uzbek delegation will also take part in specialized seminars on the topics "Retail Marketing", "Water Filtration in Horticulture", "New Methods of Growing in Deep Water" and "Recent Trends in Multilayer Plant Growing".
Viscon Chief Executive Rene de Vos noted that the company is pleased to develop links with Uzbek partners in gardening and plant growing. At the same time, the businessman said that during the present participation of representatives of Uzbekistan in the exhibition it is expected to sign a contract on the purchase of technology for cultivation of minituber potatoes in the country by a new in vitro method.
Note that Viscon is engaged in the creation of innovative and logistics solutions for all processes of processing food products and agricultural products.
The Uzbek delegation will also meet with the leadership of the leading Dutch company Ammerlaan Construction to discuss the project for the construction of a modern greenhouse farm in the Samarkand region.
The trip will last until June 16.
