Uzbekistan number one Denis Istomin reached the quarterfinals of Aegon Open Nottingham in Nottingham (Great Britain).
In the third round, Denis Istomin defeated Sergei Stakhovsky of Ukraine in straight sets with the score 7:5 and 6:4.
The match lasted an hour and 25 minutes. Stakhovsky recorded two break points, four aces and three double faults.
In his turn, Denis Istomin registered four break points, eight aces and one double fault during the match.
In the quarterfinals, representative of Uzbekistan will play with Leonardo Mayer from Argentina.
