Deputy Prime Minister for Social Development visits Termez

Termez prepared objects of culture and infrastructure on the eve of the first Bakhshi International Art Festival. Termez Archaeological Museum has been opened, a new airport terminal has been prepared, the central streets of the city have been landscaped, sanitary and hygienic facilities have been installed in public places.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov visited Surkhandarya region on a working visit.
A.Abdukhakimov got acquainted with the exhibition stands of Uzbekistan’s regions in Termez Culture and Recreation Park “Bolajon”, representing the national character of each region, objects of folk applied and visual arts, national dishes and costumes.

For the convenience of participants and guests of the event, ATMs have been installed on the territory of the park, as well as tourism police are working for security purposes.

A Press Center is created in Surkhandarya Regional Information and Library Center named after Sobir Termizi for operational coverage of the festival. More than 30 journalists from 20 countries of the world, as well as representatives of Uzbekistan media will work there.

As reported by the Press Service of the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Deputy Prime Minister also visited the new terminal of Termez Airport, the capacity of which reaches 400 passengers per hour.
