During the visit the delegation made a tour to the National Library, which has been demonstrated by modern information and library technologies embedded in the daily activities, according to the press service of the library.
The new building of the National Library of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi is part of one of the monumental architectural complex "Marifat Markazi", where the buildings of National Library and the Palace of symposia located.
National Library of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi has a most modern equipment and electronic means working with manuscripts, books and other print media stacks funds.
Welcoming the guest, the director of the National Library spoke about the history and current activities of the construction of the library, on the conditions created here for users of the latest information technologies used in the creation of an electronic database, of international relations, in particular on the development of partnership with the National Library of Korea.
In the domestic book fund operates a specialized room "Window to Korea" as well as the center of learning foreign languages, including Korean.
The distinguished guest expressed sincere admiration, conditions created here for the comprehensive development of the younger generation, the National Library and wished success and good for the prosperity of our country.
