Uzbekistan continues its gradual shift to digital TV broadcasting. Currently, the level of coverage increased to 54%, and in 2017 digital broadcasting will cover the entire country, press service of the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.

Until the end of 2015 is planned to install 19 digital TV transmitters, which will cover up to 70% of the population. Today, the digital signal is available in Ferghana, Tashkent and most parts of Tashkent, Samarkand, Khorezm, Bukhara, Andijan, Namangan, Navoi, Kashkadarya regions and Karakalpakstan.
