DOCTORS FROM SWITZERLAND AND UKRAINE CONDUCTED OPERATIONS IN TASHKENT

In cooperation with the Medical Foundation "Eurasia Heart" (Switzerland) and the Scientific and Practical Center of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of Ministry of Health (MOH) medical team free of charge in Tashkent conducted nine complex surgical procedures for older people suffering from diseases of the heart.

This charity event was the practical implementation of the provisions of the State program "Year of attention and care for the senior generation" and was organized by the MOH of the country and the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Ukraine.

Leading Swiss and Ukrainian experts noted the high professionalism of Uzbek doctors and nurses, the availability of the latest equipment. An exchange of experiences between colleagues on the development of new surgical procedures using modern methods. According to doctors, all went well, the patients are recovering and will soon leave the walls of the medical establishment.

Following the event, President of medical fund "EurAsia Heart" Professor Paul Robert Vogt noted that the medicine in Uzbekistan is developing consistently, it reflects in the practical aspects.

— The basic condition for the well-being of the country is the health of the nation. Republican specialized centers equipped with excellent equipment, which opens up great possibilities for complex operations.

Director of the Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Professor Ilya Yemets said that he witnessed work on improving all areas of healthcare conducted in Uzbekistan.

— Even today we use the basic principles of medicine, which is described in the work of Avicenna "Canon of Medicine". One example of a combination of high-tech scientific precepts Avicenna is the experience of our center in the use of autologous umbilical cord blood during cardiac surgery in infants with critical congenital heart disease.
