EGYPTIAN EDITION ABOUT DEVELOPMENT OF ICT IN UZBEKISTAN

Egyptian popular scientific magazine "al-Aklam va al-Kutub" published an article devoted to round table on topic "The role of modern information and communication technologies in the modernization of public administration and democratization of society", which was held in Tashkent.

According to the publication, participation in the forum of international experts in the field of ICT in the Republic of Korea, Japan, China, Australia, Latvia and Georgia discuss the international experience has allowed the development of informatization processes in different countries to assess the prospects for its use in Uzbekistan.

The article notes that during the event discussed issues of effective use of ICT in public administration, to further improve the legal framework in this area, expanding to provide interactive services, protection of citizens’ personal data on the Internet and others.

Special attention is paid to the publication of the fact that on the outcome of round table final conclusions, practical suggestions and recommendations were adopted.

In conclusion, international participants’ shared their opinions and estimates on large-scale measures to develop the IT-industry implemented in Uzbekistan.
