EUROPEAN LANGUAGES DAY HAS BEEN CELEBRATED IN TASHKENT

Uzbek State University of World Languages timed to coincide with this date hosted a ceremony.

Representative of the British Council in Uzbekistan and Goethe Institute in Tashkent, the Embassy of France with the assistance of the European Union Delegation in Uzbekistan have become the organizers of the festival.

The event began with a ceremony of awarding certificates to participants of a seminar for teachers of English, German and French from all regions of the republic, which for three weeks to learn a new methodology of teaching foreign languages.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Uzbekistan Naythart Höfer-Wissing expressed confidence that knowledge and skills obtained during the workshop will help teachers to carry out the lessons of foreign languages better and more interesting ​​through the use of interactive teaching methods and ICT.
