The events, dedicated to life and activity of the First President are being held in educational institutions, makhallas and labor collectives of Fergana region in accordance with the resolution of the Head of our state “On celebration of the 80th anniversary of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, outstanding statesman and politician Islam Karimov’s birth” of November 27, 2017.
Presentations of the books held in Fergana were organized to popularize life and multifaceted activities of great statesman and politician Islam Karimov.
At the event with the participation of representatives of state and public organizations, scientists, writers and young people, People’s poet of Uzbekistan E.Siddikova, Director General of “Uzbekkino” national agency F.Zokirov and others noted that Islam Karimov, as the founder of Uzbekistan’s independence, determined the path of development of our country. The life and activity of the First President, who dedicated his life to serve Motherland and people, are bright examples for future generations.
An extensive work is being carried out at the initiative of the President of our country Shavkat Mirziyoyev to perpetuate the memory of Islam Karimov. People of Fergana are feeling proud that Art Palace in Fergana is named after great statesman.
The First President of our country is not only founder of our independence, the great statesman, but also author of many books with profound philosophy, who left an indelible mark in our history. «Uzbekistan» publishing house published the book “Chronicle of activities of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov (Chronicle)”, «Manaviyat» publishing house published his books “Youth are decisive force of our present and future life”, ”High spirituality is an invincible force”, as well as books “Letters to the President». At the moment, these books are delivered to educational institutions and information-resource centers.
At the event, scientists and specialists spoke about essence and importance of these books.
A documentary film about life and work of the First President of our country made a great impression on participants.
Khokim (governor) of Fergana region Sh.Ganiev delivered a speech at the event.
