Executive Secretary of the CIS is awarded the "Dustlik" Order

Chairman of the executive committee – CIS Executive Secretary Sergey Lebedev was awarded the "Dustlik" (“Friendship”) Order, at a recent meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CIS member states in Minsk, the Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

The Order was presented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov in the presence of leaders and members of the delegations of the Commonwealth countries on behalf of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The head of the country’s foreign ministry read out the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and presented the high award for great services of Sergey Lebedev in strengthening and expanding comprehensive fruitful relations, friendly and good-neighborly interstate relations within the CIS framework, active participation in development and implementation of multilateral projects aimed at developing political, socio-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation, as well as long-term personal contribution to ensuring security and stability in the Commonwealth.

Sergey Lebedev asked to convey his sincere appreciation and deep gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev for the high appreciation of his activities and emphasized that it is of particular importance for him to receive one of the highest state awards of Uzbekistan, the country where he was born and grew up.
