480 talented children ages 6-14 years participated in the regional round of the republican Children’s Art Festival ‘Kamalak Yulduzlari’ in Navoi.
More than 3 thousand boys and girls attended in the city and district rounds of the festival organized by the Regional Council of Public Youth Movement "Kamolot", Children’s organization "Kamalak", district and municipal departments of public education, of culture and sports with several other organizations. In the regional round, participants competed in classical music, vocals, playing national instruments, dance, fine arts, poetry and prose.
‘I am interested in the art of miniature,’ - said Javlonbek Holniyazov, the student of the specialized school of arts in Nurat district. ‘I like to describe historical events and national traditions in my works - miniatures based on "Baburname", hunting scene, "Amir Temur", "Bahram on the hunt".’
The winners will participate in the republican round of the festival.
