"Crystal" hall of International Hotel Tashkent is preparing in full swing for the opening of the first Press Club in Uzbekistan Elections.uz-2016, which is scheduled for November 30th.
As is known, the Central Election Commission accredited more than 1,300 representatives of foreign and national media to highlight the upcoming elections. Project Elections.uz-2016, which is a social and civic initiative, aims to create a unique interactive information media platform for representatives of domestic and foreign media and the formation of the objective content for preparation and conduct of elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
This multimedia platform was created by the National Association of Electronic Mass Media of Uzbekistan, Information Agency Uzbekistan Today, television channels Mening Yurtim, Zor TV, UZREPORT TV, Internet TV channel Sevimli-tv.uz, LLC "Darakchi inform service", "Uzbekistan cable televideniesi", radio "Poytaht", "Vodiy sadosi" and others.
Project leaders note that the club is open to all journalists, regardless of the form of media ownership, in which they work. Today about 100 people, including technical staff, creative staff and administrators are actively preparing for the opening of the Press Club.
For effective work daily program schedule was developed, providing for the organization of briefings, press conferences and a series of thematic events with the participation of parliamentarians, representatives of political parties, ministries and agencies, civil society institutions, as well as international observers.
The opening ceremony and subsequent meetings will be attended by Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan Mirza-Ulugbek Abdusalamov, chairman of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Foreign Affairs Sadiq Safayev, director of the National Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan for human rights Akmal Saidov, who give consultations in the press club.
