The executive board of the National Air Company Uzbekistan Airways and representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of Kyrgyzstan have held talks on the development of cooperation.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects of further development of bilateral cooperation in tourism. In particular, they dwelled on the issue of possible organization of charter flights to Issyk-Kul (Tamchi Airport).
NAC representatives pointed out to the need of taking certain procedures to ensure the compliance of Tamchi Airport with all international aviation security standards, after which the national air carrier of Uzbekistan will be ready for charter flights.
