Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan held talks in Samarkand

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov in Samarkand, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

"Had a sincere and constructive meeting with H.E. Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. – Our discussion reaffirmed the close bonds of friendship, mutual respect, and trust between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan — two nations united by shared history, language, and values.

We exchanged views on further expanding our cooperation in trade, transport, energy, education, and cultural exchange, and agreed to keep strengthening our strategic partnership and alliance for the benefit of our brotherly peoples".
