Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and China hold bilateral negotiations in Astana

Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Wang Yi, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

"Had a productive meeting with H.E. Wang Yi, the Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, today in Astana, – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram channel. – The high dynamics of our industrial, investment, intellectual, cultural and interregional contacts are aimed at bringing the best outcomes to the people of Uzbekistan and China. Discussed the further strengthening friendship and all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership between our two nations with an emphasis on the comprehensive implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level. We also discussed the acute topics on regional and global agenda".
It is worth recalling that the delegation of Uzbekistan, led by Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, is in Astana on May 20-21. During the visit, it is planned to participate in the next meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and conduct bilateral negotiations.
