The delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov met with Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov on 11 December, in the framework of solemn events dedicated to the 22nd anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality and the 10th anniversary of the creation of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia.
The parties exchanged opinions on topical issues of bilateral relations, regional and international politics.
The Ministers agreed on a schedule of activities for the upcoming year and agreed to conduct a coherent and coordinated work on further deepening of mutually beneficial cooperation, as well as supporting the initiatives of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan in the framework of regional and international organizations.
