The media in Germany continue to monitor the development of modern Uzbekistan. Recently, electronic portals PresseEcho OpenPR and published articles on the acquaintance of the German public with the experience of our country to increase the role of women in civil society, the state and public administration.

In particular, PresseEcho reported that over the years of independence Uzbekistan effectively functions the legal framework has been formed, which unites more than 100 laws and other normative legal acts aimed at the further development of public policy on women and the improvement of the institutional protection of their rights.

PresseEcho informs that by the end of the electoral campaign in December 2014, 24 women (16% of the total deputies) deputies elected for the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan. The Senate of the Oliy Majlis includes 17% of women out of all members. "This reflects not only the steady growth of their political, social activity, but also on the legislative guarantees for their participation in the representative bodies of state power, - the publication says.

One of the priorities of the Committee is the development of women’s entrepreneurship. In this regard, it notes that only in the first half of 2015 beginner women entrepreneurs received loans amounting to more than 685.7 billion soums, which is 31.5% more compared to the same period last year.

It noted the Committee’s work on employment and the employment of graduates of colleges.
