Tashkent State University of Law hosted a forum on “Ensuring stability, sustainable development and national security in the context of globalization”
Rector of the University E.Kanyazov, Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan S.Ortikova, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan H.Halimov, Head of the Scientific and Practical Center of the National Idea and Ideology A.Mavrulov, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs S.Nurmatov, First Deputy Chairman of Central Council of “Kamolot” Public Youth Movement F.Muhamajonova, UN Resident Coordinator in the country, the permanent representative of the UN Development Programme S. Prisner and others have noted that Uzbekistan paid special attention to peace and security issues under the leadership of President Islam Karimov.
The ongoing work to protect the public, especially young people, from the impact of alien ideas, its upbringing in a spirit of respect for national and universal values that call representatives of the younger generation to draw right conclusions about the world events, always be vigilant. Conversations and meetings paid particular attention to the prevention of harmful effects of information on young people, which are circulated through the Internet and contrary to our national values, strengthen young people’s spiritual and educational immunity to modern threats.
The scale of work in the area is consistently expanded by the Decree of President of our country “On additional measures aimed at implementation in the Republic of Uzbekistan of the state youth policy”, dated February 6, 2014.
The forum heard presentations on topics such as the threat of spirituality is a threat to the identity and the future, challenges of global security, the increasing the efficiency of the formation of young people immunity to alien ideas, the protection of young generation from information attacks in the context of globalization, the role of national propaganda in enhancing the spirituality of young men and women.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Women’s Committee E.Basithanova has made the speech at the event.
