GM Uzbekistan will launch a serial production of "Lacetti" model cars with the installation of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) equipment for compressed gas, at the plant JSC "GM Uzbekistan", according to the company’s press service.
The calibration operation of the vehicle and gas equipment was carried out jointly with "GM Korea" and " Landi Renzo" (Italy), the necessary tests of parts and components for gas equipment, were carried out according to GM global system of standards and regulations ECE R110.
The main advantage of the installation of LPG equipment in “Lacetti" cars is its specifically adapted by GM PowerTrain Uzbekistan engine, which runs on gas. The car has reinforced chassis parts and other advantages.
It is noted, all the necessary tests of the car, to ensure the optimum performance of "Lacetti", were carried out, together with the company "GM Korea".
The company "Faber", Italy (cylinders) and JV "Uzavto - Landi Renzo" (engine compartment components of equipment) are the suppliers of LPG equipment installed at the plant JSC "GM Uzbekistan".
