Projects, which are implemented in the Uzbek Railways, not only improve the quality in the transportation of goods and passengers, but also contributing to the development of the economy, they are making a worthy contribution to the prosperity of our country, improve the quality of life of the population.
In confirmation of these words can cite many examples, such as electrified railway line under construction "Angren-Pap," on the site which has been drilled in the tunnel length of 19.1 km, passing through the mountain pass Kamchik. Its design is based on the latest developments of this kind of structures and includes a safety tunnel, sboyki, galleries, ventilation facilities and utilities. In the world ranking, by its complexity among tunnels located in a mountainous area it occupies the 8th place, and by length of the railway line - 13th place.
Built on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to organize the construction of an electrified railway line Angren-Pap" of June 18, 2013, new steel pipe in the near future will open new opportunities in the field of transit, will link the Central and East Asia.
The construction involved more than 4250 professionals, and more than 720 units of technical equipment is used. To date, the volume of executed earth works was 43 million cubic meters, drilling and blasting - 16.3 million cubic meters. The construction of 285 water viaducts and 6 railway structures, 13 railway bridges, railway station "Orzu" stations "Cool", "Temiryulobod", "Kushminor" completed.
Also the construction of tracks and electrification of a section from Angren to the western portal of the tunnel, from the east portal of the tunnel to the Pope made.
