During the literary evening devoted to the 576th birth anniversary of the poet, it was said that in the years of independence the good names of Uzbek people’s great ancestors were restored and that a great deal of work had been carried out to deeply study and propagate their rich spiritual heritage. This noble work being continued in a consistent manner in this country raises national morality even more and serves for the harmonious development of the younger generation.

Over many centuries, Alisher Navoiy’s multi-faceted creative work calls for goodness, unity, science and enlightenment and serves as a source of limitless pride for the Uzbek people.
