TASHKENT, November 6. / IA "DUNYO" /. A session of the International Press Club was held in Tashkent, during which politicians, experts and representatives of political parties discussed the priorities and achievements of the foreign policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a Dunyo correspondent reports.
The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Nematov, dwelling on one of the priority areas of foreign policy - the development of trade, economic and investment cooperation with foreign countries, noted that recently these issues are one of the paramount in the activities of foreign missions of the republic.
In particular, over the past period, the diplomatic missions of our country have worked out investment projects totaling $ 30.1 billion.
Over the past two years, there has been a positive growth trend in the export of domestic products. If in 2017 its volumes amounted to about 8.3 billion dollars, in 2018 - 9.8 billion dollars, then for 6 months of 2019 this indicator amounted to 5.5 billion dollars, which shows an increase of - 23.4 %
