Within the framework of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the program of development of tourism in the Tashkent region for 2013-2015" provided implementation of 53 projects and more than 100 events to further develop and improve the efficiency of use of the tourist potential of the region, reports press service of "Uzbektourism".
So, works on improvement of the 15 sites of historical and cultural heritage to be carried out. Among them - the mausoleum "Gumboz-bobo" in Angren, archaeological sites "Shoxruxiya" and "Kanka" in Akkurgan, "Korahona", "Saur-Tepa", "Sardoba Kainar" and "Kulbulak" in Akhangaran, "Kendyk- Tepa" in Urtachirchik, mausoleums "Kyzyl-Mazar" in Bekabad, "Parpi-ota", "Bogizagon" and the monument "Sarmazar" in Pskent areas. Completed capital repairs complexes "Zangi-ota" and "Shodmalik-ota". Work has begun on the subject of historical and cultural heritage "Kirk-Kiz".
Under the program, a total of business entities of tourism metropolitan area will obtain 253 cars and 200 buses.
Also, the construction of new hotels and campsites in Bekabad, villages Khodjikent, Yangiovul and Yusufhona of Bostanlyk district. The reconstruction of the sanatorium "Aktas" and "Botanica".
The region continues to develop new routes to destinations such as historical and cognitive, ecological-registration of outdoor recreation, sports, industrial and agro-tourism. Became popular tours of Ugam-Chatkal National Park, covers 574,6 thousand hectares in Bostanlik, Parkent and Akhangaran areas and actions when Chatkal State Biosphere Reserve.
