IMPROVING IT SYSTEM OF UZBEKISTAN ON PAGES OF SOUTH KOREAN MEDIA

As previously reported, new Uzbek-Korean joint venture LG CNS Uzbekistan has been established in Tashkent. This event has attracted the interest of South Korean media.

In particular, english-language newspaper Korea Times noted that the new company LG CNS Uzbekistan has been created with the participation of South Korean companies in the field of IT LG CNS and JSC Uzbektelecom. It’s activity will include software development, installation and implementation of software and hardware complexes, as well as the formation of project and technical documentation for the Electronic Government system and real sector of Uzbekistan’s economy.

The article emphasizes that implemented joint project Electronic Government aimed at forming a solid infrastructure for the introduction of modern information systems and databases for government agencies and interactive public services.

Herewith, newspaper Korea Herald informs that with the purpose of the favorable development of market of information technologies LG CNS Uzbekistan is planning to cooperate with local companies and developers. The article of the newspaper quoted the executive director of the company LG CNS Kim Dae-Hoon:

— Our company is a leader in the field of information and communication technologies. It is ready to use its business potential with the aim of promoting the competitiveness of the ICT market in Uzbekistan, - the director said.

In turn, Yonhap News Agency on its portal reported that the new joint venture also plans to release solar panels in Uzbekistan. Along with this, the company will engage in retraining and improvement of IT-specialists, meeting international standards.

Jahon Information Agency, Seoul
