IMPROVING THE STATE PRICING POLICY

At the Center for improvement of antimonopoly policy under the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on privatization, de-monopolization and competition development held a training seminar on the development of competition and state regulation of prices, the press service of the Ministry of Finance reports.

The event was attended by representatives of large companies, which are part of SJSC "Uzkimyosanoat", SJSC "Uzbekneftegaz" and others.

During the seminar were discussed to promote competition, protect the legitimate rights of enterprises of natural monopolies and consumers, innovations and additions to the legislative framework in the field of antitrust policy and issues of pricing of goods of monopoly enterprises and natural monopolies.

In the course of the event a review of the regulatory framework in the sphere of state regulation of prices (tariffs), the issues of regulation of relations connected with the activities of natural monopolies and monopoly enterprises in the commodity markets of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the order of their inclusion in the State Register were reviewed.

After the seminar, suggestions were made to further improve the pricing and pricing of goods (works, services) of the enterprises-monopolists.
