In 2024, the volume of Chinese investments exceeded USD 10 billion

As part of the business program of the official visit to China, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting today with the heads of leading companies of this country, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our state, the event was attended by executives of China Gold, China Coal Resources, China Datang Corporation, Tianjin Rail Transit Group, Poly Changda, Tianjin Urban Construction, Jinchuan Group, China Synfuels, Jinchuan, ST Wonderful, Mizuda, World Agriculture, Dongzhu Ecology and other companies.

The Head of State noted with satisfaction the traditionally high interest of Chinese businesses in Uzbekistan. Last year alone, investment volumes exceeded $10 billion.

During the meeting, prospects for the implementation of cooperation projects in the field of energy, geology, agriculture and water management, chemical and jewelry industries, modernization of public transport, as well as infrastructure and tourism development were discussed.
