INDEPENDENCE THROUGH THE EYES OF CREATIVE PEOPLE

Tashkent House of Photography opened an exhibition of works of participants of the Republican contest "Eng ulug’, eng aziz" ("The greatest, the cherished") in the areas of visual art, photography and design, according to national news agency UzA.

The organizers of the exhibition were made by Uzbek Agency for Press and Information, Creative Union of Journalists, Writers’ Union, National TV and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, National Agency "Uzbekkino", Public Fund for Support and Development of Independent Print Media and Information Agencies of Uzbekistan and other organizations.

In the initial stages of the competition "Eng ulug’, eng aziz" conducted in accordance with the Decree of the Head of State "On preparation and celebration of 24th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan" of July 17 this year, more than 500 contestants submitted about 4 thousands of creative works on directions of the fine arts, photography and design. More than 700 works of 54 authors were selected for the final round.

The works presented at the exhibition, tell about our unique nature, hard-working people, success achieved in various fields.
