Report of the President Islam Karimov at the enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to the socio-economic development in 2015 and the most important priorities of economic program for 2016, aroused great interest in Indonesia.
In particular, Muhammad Shafruddin, the deputy of the House of Representatives of Indonesia, member of the Committee on Foreign Policy, Defense and Information, commenting certain provisions of the speech of the head of our state in an interview with Jahon Information Agency, noted that Uzbekistan has shown impressive achievements in socio-economic area, even amid the ongoing the global crisis and volatility in the global market.
— Thought-out anti-crisis measures of the Uzbek authority to achieve stable and sustainable economic growth, improving living standards are deeply commendable. The figures for 2015, which were announced in the report of the President Islam Karimov, are evidenced it.
The interviewee confirmed the correctness of the World Economic Forum’s decision, which included Uzbekistan in the top five states with growing economies. This high assessment is a clear indicator of the growth of our country’s prestige in the international community and will be an important factor for attracting foreign investments into the country.
Eco Sri Margiani, the rector at Gunadarma University, separately emphasized on the results of ongoing large-scale reforms in Uzbekistan in education. Ongoing work in the area, as noted by the head of the university, gives the country’s young generation opportunities to realize their potential, provides training of highly qualified and professional staff.
— Growing volume of funds, allocated for the development of the material-technical base of higher educational institutions, is impressive. Thus they are a sound investment in the future of the country. Due to comprehensive measures, taken by the educational system of Uzbekistan, has taken a leading position in the world.
Yves Safri, the senior manager of PT Bahana Artha Ventures, noted that the efforts of Uzbekistan to improve the business climate, reliable protection of the interests of private businesses play an important role in the country’s steady progress. The representative of the Indonesian business community stressed on the role and importance of small business as the most important factor in the middle class of owners formation, filling the internal market with competitive and quality products, creating new work places, improving the general population’s welfare.
