INHERITORS OF EASTERN ART

Nilufar Aminjonova is a third year student of the republican college of design. She loves depicting Uzbek national values and traditions in her drawings. Uzbek national values can be seen in works created by this young talent in such genres as landscape, portrait and still life.

At an exhibition entitled “Inheritors of Eastern art” arranged in the Kamoliddin Behzod memorial park-museum of the Art Academy of Uzbekistan on the occasion of the Nowruz holiday, Nilifar’s pictures named “My grandmother’s yard”, “My grandmother’s portrait” and “Bright memory” are displayed.

“It was not for nothing that we named today’s exhibition `Inheritors of Eastern art’. This is the name of young artists’ group established at our educational institution. This group functions on the basis of the master - apprentice tradition, and it consists of very talented young people. On the eve of the Nowruz holiday, 14 young artists of the group have presented more than 60 drawings to visual art lovers,” says a teacher of the college, Ruslan Qodirov.

The “Inheritors of Eastern art” group established at the college is led by Ruslan Qodirov and Marina Makeyeva. They give special attention to every member of the group and teach them visual art techniques. This group’s unanimity and accord and concerted effort to create works of art are noteworthy.

This heavenly country’s nature, its development, people and national traditions are depicted in works created by young talents R.Qodirov, M.Makeyeva, O.Yoldoshev, V.Galautdinov, H.Ghaybullayeva, F.Aloyev, F.Husenova, O.Jabborova and I.Ahmadjonova in such genres as landscape, portrait and still life.
