The Scientific-engineering and marketing researches center “Unicon.uz” has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the South Korean company “Bridgesoft Inc.” in order to strengthen partnership in development of open source software technologies.
Director of “Unicon.uz” SUE Khislat Khasanov and CEO of “Bridgesoft Inc.” Kim Nam Gyu noted that one of the most important directions of development of modern ICT is the development of qualitative source software. Cooperation in this sphere between the two countries continues to strengthen and expand with each passing year.
The decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev “On measures of radically improving conditions for the development of information technologies industry in the republic” of June 30, 2017 marked the beginning of a new stage in development of the domestic software industry, provided new benefits and opportunities for programmers.
According to the signed memorandum, the South Korean side plans to provide grant funds for the development of “IJRO.GOV.UZ” system being developed by “Unicon.uz”. It is a single interdepartmental electronic system for taking control over the discipline and serves to centralize and automate data collection and processing procedures. Within the framework of the memorandum it is also envisaged to conduct a joint research on development of an information system for analyzing large data in Uzbekistan, in 2018.
