Tashkent recently hosted an international conference “Actual problems of development of social partnership between state bodies and civil society institutes in ensuring reliable protection of rights and legal interests of the population” with the participation of a number of foreign industry specialists and representatives of international organizations.
One of the eminent international experts, the Director of the International center for not-for-profit law (ICNL) in Russia Daria Miloslavskaya has been among them, who shared her opinions and impressions with the correspondent of “Jahon” IA in Moscow.
– I would like to warmly thank the organizers for the invitation to the conference, which was devoted to the most topical issues of socio-political and legal preconditions of formation and development of social partnership in Uzbekistan, the role of civil society institutions in democratic renewal and modernization of the country, the mechanisms of interaction of Parliament with NGOs, the local authorities and media in the development and discussion of socially significant bills.
It was a great honor for me to participate in such a representative event organized at a high level with a breadth and hospitality, characteristic of Uzbekistan.
It also was attended by prominent international experts from Germany, Belgium, Croatia, who shared their experience and vision for further improvement of the legislation of your country in the field of social partnership. Activity of legislature’s representatives of the Republic of Uzbekistan, professionals who directly adopt laws, discuss changes and make revisions, in the conference has been extremely important.
The forum was timely and very effective. After all, no modern information technology, computers, Internet will replace the opportunity to exchange views and hold discussions, build relationships, and then transform them into subsequent daily work during the communication, which have always been the foundation of mutually beneficial contacts among expert and analytical community. From this point of view, the event can be called a very important international event, which discussed in detail the topical issues of social partnership’s legal regulation. The decisions, made during the conference, undoubtedly, will contribute to further improvement of legislation in the field of interaction between government and society.
