INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRIAL FAIR AND COOPERATIVE EXCHANGE CONTINUES

Enterprises of Uzbekenergo, Uzbekkumir and Uzbekkimyosanoat JSCs, Uzbekneftgaz national holding company, State Committee for geology and mineral resources, scientific-research institutes of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Uzagromashservis association, Uzagroprommashkholding holding company, Fergana, Andijan and Namangan regions held presentations within the framework of ongoing IX International industrial fair and cooperative exchange at Uzbekistan exhibition centre (Uzexpocenter).

The presentations demonstrated the results of the reforms, carried out under the leadership of President Islam Karimov in localization of production, increasing cooperation between enterprises and entrepreneurs.

A special attention is paid in our country to further strengthening the potential, modernization of the enterprises and saving energy resources. Tens of enterprises of Uzbekenergo JSC are showcasing their achievements in this sphere, modern equipment in saving, delivery and accounting energy, necessary materials and spare parts for the industry.

– Our enterprises, organized at the Angren special industrial zone, produces various isolators and accessories, – says deputy general director of Armatura-isolyator zavodi LLC Nurali Bobonazarov. – We get big chunk of raw materials from domestic suppliers. Our energy-saving and quality products meet world standards and are being exported. This is the first time we have taken part in the fair. So far we have concluded contracts for almost two billion soums.

The decree of the Head of state "On programme of measures to ensure structural transformations, modernization and diversification of production for 2015-2019" dated 4 March 2015 supports improving works on renovation of production lines and introduction of innovative technologies in the country. The program envisages increase of production volumes and broadening list of high value-added products based on deep processing of natural gas and gas condensate.

Uzbekneftgaz national holding company has been consistently widening production scale of import-substituting and export-oriented goods.

– We have an opportunity to conclude direct contract at the industrial fair, – says chief specialist of the head department of finance and economy of the company Alisher Mirzamakhmudov. – At last year’s fair we concluded contracts for 967 billion soums. For this fair we are expecting contract worth over 1 trillion 370 billion soums. Apart from this, we are holding negotiations with foreign partners.

Continuing wide scale reforms on improving industrial potential of our country, accelerated development of the economy serve to boost cooperation with foreign investor. Representatives of many leading companies from several countries are taking part in the fair.

– International industrial fair and cooperative exchange is a good opportunity to acquaint with a huge economic potential of Uzbekistan, – says general manager of Malaysion company "Clarion" Po Kyu Koy. – We are interested in developing our business in Uzbekistan. Taking part at this forum, we can see that a wide assortment of products are produced in Uzbekistan. This attests to dynamic development of industry in Uzbekistan.
