INTERNATIONAL TENNIS TOURNAMENT AMONG JUNIORS ENDED IN TASHKENT

International Tennis Tournament among juniors ended on the courts of the Republican Tennis School of Olympic Reserve.

Tennis players from more than ten countries participated in individual and doubles competitions of the tournament, jointly organized by the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation with the International Tennis Federation (ITF). In single competitions our tennis player Jurabek Karimov won the main prize.

In the doubles competition, our tennis players Sharobiddin Abzalov and Humoyun Sultonov, in the first round, they won over Aliaksandr Liaonenka and Alexander Zgirovsky from Belarus, in the quarter - over Adil Kalyanpur from India and Clement Tabur of France, in the semi-finals – Ben Draper and Jack Molloy from UK and reached the final. In the final, they defeated James Davis and Matthew Summers from the UK with a score of 7:6, 3:6, and 10:5.
